The „ANDREI PROVITA” Foundation was established in 1998. Its purpose is to offer support to the disfavored people, to the institutionalized persons, to the suffering, old or with little material possibilities by identifying and mobilizing some internal or external resources trough social programs for the upper mentioned beneficiaries. The Foundation’s Objectives, mentioned in the constitutive papers may be grouped so:
Sustaining some charity actions, offering material and social assistance, granting and facilitating donations - from the country or beyond - to persons with mental or physical handicap, to the sick, old, people with a poor financial condition, children both from in and out of care institutions by:
Arranging spaces to receive and host persons from an institutional environment or without material possibilities – Creating family-like homes and financing them;
Organizing food-preparing activities in eating house like units and sustaining them financially;
Forming specialized personnel and involving it in social and humanitarian activities;
Offering prizes and scholarships to the children of numerous or disorganized families, with little material possibilities;
Organizing and hosting camps, recreational cantonments or trips for disfavored persons;
Creating work places for the social integration of young people from state orphanages or children homes.
